Join Birds, Bees & Butterflies - Bemidji for an afternoon celebrating monarch butterflies, pollinators, plants and the habitats that support them.
Come learn, explore and connect with local organizations, community groups and people who are working to make Bemidji a better place for butterflies, bees, birds and other wildlife.
Featured Speaker: Heather Holm
We’re excited to welcome nationally recognized pollinator expert, author and educator Heather Holm as our featured speaker. Heather’s work focuses on pollinators, plants and the relationships between plants and insects.
We are pleased to welcome Alison Barta back for her annual Barta Butterfly Report, sharing her observations and insights from another season of butterfly monitoring in our area!

Bring the kids! Young nature lovers can explore the world of monarchs and pollinators through hands-on activities, creative projects and opportunities to discover more about the insects and plants around us.

We’re inviting local organizations, nonprofits, agencies, educators, businesses and community groups whose work connects with pollinators, wildlife, gardening, conservation, environmental education, community health or creating habitat to join us as a tabling participant.
This is a great opportunity to share what you do, connect with community members and help make the festival an engaging experience for visitors of all ages.
