GALA Keynote Speaker: John Kriesel.

John Kriesel is a decorated Army veteran, author, and motivational speaker whose story of survival and resilience inspires audiences nationwide. After losing both legs and three close friends in an IED explosion in Iraq, John’s unwavering optimism and humor became his greatest strengths. A Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient, he went on to serve in the Minnesota House of Representatives and now works as a county veterans services director and radio personality on KFAN. His bestselling book, Still Standing, shares his journey of hope, gratitude, and the power of a positive attitude.
