Speaker Bio
Chad Roberts serves as the Executive Director of the Minnesota Secure Choice Retirement Program, a state-administered retirement program designed to expand access to workplace retirement savings for Minnesota workers without access to a qualified retirement plan through their employer. He brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across public administration, retirement systems, government finance, and law enforcement. Prior to joining Minnesota Secure Choice, he served as Deputy Executive Director and Chief Retirement Officer for the State of North Dakota Retirement and Investment Office, where he oversaw retirement operations and strategic initiatives for one of the state's largest public pension systems. Dr. Roberts holds bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Doctor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mary. He is committed to advancing retirement security and helping employers and workers build stronger financial futures.
