POSITION SUMMARY

This position serves primarily internal customers; however, responsibilities also include serving external customers whenever the opportunity presents itself.

This position does not involve direct day to day supervision of employees.

Confidentiality of customer information cannot be overstated. It is expected that all customer information be kept in the strictest confidence. We must do whatever it takes to ensure that our relationships with the public are not jeopardized.
The purpose of this position is to support the loan officers in the processing and closing of both in-house and secondary market loan portfolio products, as well as home equity and consumer loans.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
  • Process real estate files for FNBB in-house loans as well as secondary market loans from initial file submission to loan closing
  • Be an active liaison between the lender and the customer, as well as the title companies, appraisers, etc.
  • Verify obtained information making sure it complies with in-house real estate guidelines
  • Prepare loan packages for in-house and secondary market underwriting review
  • Prepare closing documentation for lender
  • Gain a proficient knowledge of real estate loan guidelines and documentation
  • Complete additional tasks/projects independently in support of the retail loan department
  • Service in-house and secondary market loans (Ex. Amendments for in-house loans at balloon maturity/loan modifications)
  • Ensure backups for the position are properly and thoroughly trained
  • Attend required staff meetings
  • Follow security procedures

HOURS
  • 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
  • This position is not eligible for hybrid work
  • It is expected that work be completed, therefore additional hours may be required in order to accomplish certain tasks
  • Timecards are required and any time over 40 hours will be paid at the rate of time-and-one-half
 
COMPENSATION RANGE
  • The compensation range for this position is: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour.  This range reflects the base wage for this position.  Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. 
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience: A minimum of one-year experience in banking is strongly recommended but not required; knowledge of real estate industry is preferred; experience in a fast-paced, deadline orientated office environment may be helpful
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIROMENT
  • Manual dexterity for repetitive use of computers, calculators and telephones
  • Sit for extended periods of time
  • Lift and carry up to 15 pounds on occasion
  • Primary work environment for this position is that of a typical office setting
