Job Description

| Compensation Range: Starting $19.00 – $23.00 per hour | Reports To: Facilities Supervisor |
POSITION SUMMARY
This position serves primarily internal customers; however, responsibilities also include serving external customers whenever the opportunity presents itself.
This position does not involve direct day to day supervision of employees.
Confidentiality of customer information cannot be overstated. It is expected that all customer information be kept in the strictest confidence. We must do whatever it takes to ensure that our relationships with the public are not jeopardized.
This position involves the maintenance of all bank fixed assets including buildings, grounds, and equipment. The position also includes the responsibility of transporting documents and assets locally, processing incoming and outgoing mail, and managing supply inventories and resources to support business operations.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Aptitude to learn Electrical and Plumbing systems
- Knowledge of grounds keeping equipment and landscaping
- Capable of operating powered equipment
- Ability to recognize and troubleshoot building and grounds issues
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with employees and vendors, both in person and on the telephone
- Ability to work effectively with multiple departments
- Self-motivated and excellent time management skills
- Acquired experience with Microsoft Office programs
- Receive and process incoming and outgoing mail. Sort mail and parcels in transit and deliver to appropriate locations
- Receive freight/office supplies and distribute to appropriate locations and perform courier duties between our facilities and other local businesses
- Maintain cleanliness of facilities
- Maintain grounds, including removing snow, salting sidewalks, picking up trash and debris, mowing lawn, weeding, trimming and planting flowers
- Perform waste management, recycling, and shredding duties
- Perform and follow proper flag guidelines based on guidance received from the government, including proper storage and cleaning procedures
- Maintain lighting at all facilities; order, recycle, and replace bulbs as needed
- Maintain office supply inventory and place supply orders at the request of staff
- Maintain and organize FNBB supply room and kitchen area
- Assist with rolled coin
- Assist with the enhancement of buildings and grounds with development of displays, decorations and landscaping
- Assist with updating signage at all facilities
- Assist with special event planning for staff and customers
- Follow and coordinate maintenance schedules of facilities, equipment and vehicles with appropriate vendors
- Monitor fire extinguishers and emergency lights, monthly
- Maintain FNBB first aid kits for all facilities as needed
- Touch-up paint throughout buildings as deemed necessary
- Safely operate, maintain and repair equipment, machinery, hand and bench tools
- Safely operate motor vehicles and ground/snow removal equipment
- Assist with set-up of meeting rooms: furniture, chairs, tables, room dividers, etc., upon request
- Employees for this position will be assigned specific duties from those listed above
- Ensure backups for position are properly and thoroughly trained
- Attend required staff meetings
- Follow security procedures
