Havenwood Care Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team. If you enjoy working with older adults and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents, we would love to hear from you.

Position Highlights

• Wage: $28.75–$31.75 per hour, based on experience and the updated wage scale

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available

• Overnight opportunities are also available

• $1.50/hour overnight shift differential

• Additional $2/hour charge nurse differential when applicable

• Every-other-weekend and holiday rotation may be required for applicable positions

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, quality nursing care to residents.

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.

• Monitor and document residents' conditions, symptoms, and responses to care.

• Report changes in residents' conditions to the supervising RN.

• Assist with implementing and evaluating individualized resident care plans.

• Provide comfort, safety, and emotional support to residents.

• Work collaboratively with CNAs, RNs, physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals.

• Provide guidance, coaching, and oversight to nursing assistants.

• Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.

• Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge of nursing standards and applicable state and federal regulations.

• Commitment to providing respectful, resident-centered care.
