| Compensation Range: Starting $19.00 - $23.00 per hour | Reports To: Deposit Services Division Manager |
POSITION SUMMARY
This position serves primarily external customers; however, responsibilities also include serving internal customers whenever the opportunity presents itself.
This position does not involve direct day to day supervision of employees.
Confidentiality of customer information cannot be overstated. It is expected that all customer information be kept in the strictest confidence. We must do whatever it takes to ensure that our relationships with the public are not jeopardized.
This position is a first “point of contact” for people entering the bank and looking to open new accounts. Therefore, the first impression should be lasting and positive. The purpose of this position is to counsel customers on their account and banking needs, perform the necessary tasks to fill those needs, and promote use of all other products and services that the bank offers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
- Open any type of deposit account offered by FNBB, follow required identification procedures of new and existing customers, and use appropriate methods to determine acceptance of new accounts and initial deposits
- Maintain interest bearing accounts for Certificate of Deposits (COD) and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) following regulations
- Place orders for checks, deposit slips, and endorsement stamps
- Update customer information, following proper Customer Identification Procedures (CIP)
- Answer telephone inquiries and items pertaining to deposit accounts
- Gain an expert knowledge on all types of accounts and services offered, as well as associated rules and regulations pertaining to deposit products
- Process the redemption of savings bonds
- Assist customers with outgoing and incoming wire transfers
- Order foreign currency upon customer request
- Educate eligible customers about 55 Connection, Teen and Young Investors Clubs
- Assist and recognize cross-selling opportunities for all products and services offered by FNBB.
- Troubleshoot issues for customers when needed
- Back-up for Safe Deposit Box and Concierge
- Attend required staff meetings
- Follow security procedures
- Support a diverse and inclusive culture
- Abide by all policies, procedures, and expectations set forth in the Employee Manual or requested by management
